Deep garnet in color, the 2016 Hommage à Elisabeth Bouchet hits the ground running with an intense, profound nose of blackberry preserves, boysenberries and redcurrant jelly, plus suggestions of beef drippings, black olives, damp soil and unsmoked cigars with wafts of pencil lead and truffles. The full-bodied palate bursts with vibrant, shimmery black and red fruits, inlaid with mineral accents and supported by firm, exquisitely ripe and finely grained tannins. Electric sparks of bright acidity course through the densely packed core, delivering incredible energy and freshness to the finish, leaving you wanting more. That this estate has managed to craft such a complete, jaw-dropping beauty entirely from Cabernet Franc is a triumph and, I hope, not the last of its kind. Visibly more mature on the rim, the nose is not quite as cohesive as the 1986 with mulberry, leather, fig and tertiary aromas. The palate has good weight, which is commendable given that this was not a Right Bank vintage, but the tannins feel just a little coarse and it certainly did not offer the same degree of precision as the 1986 Le Pin. Maybe there are better bottles out there, but I would be inclined to drink mine (if I had any) over the next 5-10 years. Tasted June 2016.(The Wine Advocate, The Wine Advocate)

The nose is simply breathtaking - quintessential Haut-Brion with ebullient red berry fruit, roasted herbs, gravel, terracotta tiles on a warm summer's day...it is simply wave after wave of intoxicating scents that could bring even the most stoic person to tears of joy. The palate displays heavenly balance, pitch-perfect acidity, perhaps spicier than previous bottles that I have tasted, and what depth and dimension in this outstanding wine. That hint of graphite on the finish is a cheeky nod to Pauillac, as if to thumb its nose at the First Growths, because alongside Château Latour, almost by stealth, the Haut-Brion is one of the greatest Bordeaux in this millennial year. One of St.-Estephe's most forward thinking producers, Prats is never content with merely making outstanding wine. Over the last few years he has improved Cos d'Estournel, already one of the great wines of Bordeaux, by eliminating any filtration at bottling, and replacing the standard paper label with one made of plastic so it will not disintegrate in damp, humid cellars. Additionally, the quality of his wines in such difficult vintages as 1992 and 1993 has been remarkable. Readers should also note that a second wine, the beautifully packaged Les Pagodes de Cos, has been implemented with the 1994 vintage. It appears to be a fine second wine. One of the most successful Medocs of the vintage, Cos d'Estournel's 1993 exhibits an opaque dark purple color, and a heady, sweet, pure, blackcurrant bouquet that roars from the glass. With surprising richness, fat, and glycerin, tasters would never suspect that this medium-bodied, elegant yet authoritatively-flavored wine emerged from such a difficult vintage. The wine's low acidity and roundness guarantees 12-14 years of drinkability. This is a splendid success in an irregular vintage. Cos d'Estournel is clearly producing wines that are often of first-growth potential.(The Wine Advocate, Feb 28, 1997) °ÛºÌ¤òÊü¤Ä¥µ¥ó¡¦¥Æ¥¹¥Æ¥Õ¤Î°ÎÂç¤Ê¸ºß ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥³¥¹ ¥Ç¥¹¥È¥¥¥ë¥Í¥ë Chateau Cos d'Estournel ¼Â¶È²È¤Î¥ß¥·¥§¥ë¡¦¥ì¥¤¥Ó¥¨¤¬¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤ò¹ØÆþ¤·¤¿¤Î¤Ï2000ǯ¡£¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥®¥ç¡¼¥à¡¦¥×¥é¥Ã¥Ä¡Ê¸½¡¦¥É¥á¡¼¥Ì¡¦¥Ð¥í¥ó¡¦¥É¡¦¥í¥¹¥Á¥ã¥¤¥ë¥É¡¦¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥ÈCEO¡Ë¤¬»ÙÇۿͤò̳¤á¤Æ¤¤¤¿»þÂå¤ËÃÛ¤¤¤¿ºÇÀèü¤Î¾ú¤ÀßÈ÷¤È¡¢¥ê¥â¡¼¥È¡¦¥»¥ó¥·¥ó¥°¤ò¶î»È¤·¤¿ºÏÇݤǡ¢¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È¤ä¥â¥ó¥í¡¼¥º¤ò¶¼¤«¤¹¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ò¤¤Ã¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£¤Þ¤¿¡¢ÅÚ¾í¤Î¥Ð¥é¥ó¥¹¤ò»Ï¤á¡¢¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤ò¼è¤ê´¬¤¯¼«Á³´Ä¶¤â¥¹¡¼¥Ñ¡¼¥»¥«¥ó¥É¤Ë¤Õ¤µ¤ï¤·¤¤½¨°ï¤Ê¤â¤Î¤Ç¤¹¡£Â¾¤ÎÄÉ¿ï¤òµö¤µ¤Ê¤¤¡¢¤½¤Î°µÅÝŪÉʼÁ¤Ç¡¢¥¹¡¼¥Ñ¡¼¥»¥«¥ó¥ÉɮƬ¤ÎºÂ¤ò³Î¸Ç¤¿¤ë¤â¤Î¤Ë¤·¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥³¥¹ ¥Ç¥¹¥È¥¥¥ë¥Í¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø

It has a gentle and caressing bouquet full of copious dark cherry and raspberry fruit, a touch of saddle leather and a seam of dark chocolate emanating from the oak regime, which needs more time to integrate (though it is not an Haut-Brion that is going to demand years and years in bottle). The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and feels gentle in the mouth. It is very well balanced, although perhaps the oak comes through too strongly on the finish, when frankly there is no need. Nevertheless, this is a classic Pessac-Léognan - maybe "mild mannered" and a little conservative compared to more ambitious recent vintages, yet there is no doubting its class and pedigree. It remains one of the standouts of the growing season and actually replicates previous showings just the week earlier and in January. As expected, the nose has quite brilliant delineation with blackberry, graphite, here an almost cold slate-like scent. The palate is harmonious with the carefully judged acidity, fine-grain tannin and immense detail on the finish. Recent bottles suggest that it may close up for several years, in which case, either enjoy this in the next few months or cellar this for a few years and receive vinous dividends down the line. The nose feels sensual, veering towards red rather than black fruit, with disarming purity and perhaps showing more floral/violet character than the 1999. Even so, that should not take anything away from this, the best vintage of that decade. Firstly, one notices that it is deeper in color than the underwhelming 1996. Then you fall into the aromatics, a beguiling concoction of blackcurrant pastilles, melted tar and tobacco all beautifully preserved after two decades. What differentiates it from the succeeding vintages is that here there is the fruit to back it up. The palate is fresh and quite dense in the mouth. The acidity is perfectly matched to the fruit, lively with a touch of piquancy on the ebullient, red cherry and wild strawberry finish that still has a bit of glycerin. The 1995 is the best vintage between 1990 and 2001, and represents a worthy wine to celebrate Thierry Manoncourt's 50th vintage. Tasted June 2015.(The Wine Advocate, Aug 31, 2016)

Exemplifying the ideal of intensity without weight, it enjoys a slight edge over La Mission Haut-Brion in this banner year for both properties.(The Wine Advocate, Dec 22, 2023) ¥°¥é¡¼¥ôÃ϶èÍ£°ì¤Î1µé ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ª¡¼ ¥Ö¥ê¥ª¥ó Chateau Haut-Brion 5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼¤ÎÃæ¤ÇÍ£°ì¥°¥é¡¼¥ôÃ϶褫¤é¥á¥É¥Ã¥¯1µé¤Ë³ÊÉÕ¤±¤µ¤ì¤Æ¤¤¤ë¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥ª¡¼¡¦¥Ö¥ê¥ª¥ó¡£¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤Ë¤Ï500ǯ°Ê¾å¤ÎÎò»Ë¤¬¤¢¤ê¡¢ÁϻϼԤǤ¢¤ë¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥É¥¥¡¦¥Ý¥ó¥¿¥Ã¥¯°Ê¹ß¡¢¿ô¡¹¤Î¥ª¡¼¥Ê¡¼¤Î¼ê¤ËÅϤë¤Ê¤«¤Ç¡¢¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¤Ï¸Â¤ê¤Ê¤¤È¯Å¸¤ò¿ë¤²¤Æ¤¤Þ¤·¤¿¡£1934ǯ¤Ë¥¢¥á¥ê¥«¤Î¥Ç¥£¥í¥ó²È¤¬½êͤ·¤Æ¤«¤é¤Ï¡¢ºÇÀèü¤Îµ»½Ñ¤¬ºÎÍѤµ¤ì¡¢¤è¤êÉʼÁ¤ò¹â¤á¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£¥¨¥ì¥¬¥ó¥È¤Ç¹á¤ê¹â¤¯¡¢½À¤é¤«¤ß¤¬¤¢¤ë¤¿¤á¡¢Â¾¤Î5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼¤ËÈæ¤Ù¤Æ¿Æ¤·¤ß¤ä¤¹¤¤¥¹¥¿¥¤¥ë¤Ç¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥ª¡¼ ¥Ö¥ê¥ª¥ó °ìÍ÷¤Ø

The 1993 is a beautifully made wine which could be considered a sleeper of the vintage. The wine boasts a dark purple color, followed by a sweet, pain grillee, roasted nut, and cassis-scented bouquet that is just beginning to open. In the mouth, the wine may not possess the body and volume of a vintage such as 1990 or 1989, but there is more richness of fruit, a sweet, ripe, pureness to the wine, as well as medium body and outstanding balance. This moderately tannic, well-focused, surprisingly rich 1993 is capable of 15-20 years of evolution. Here, it has a conservative bouquet with blackberry, cedar, warm bricks and melted tar aromas - an unfussy, uncomplicated, quite serious Pauillac bouquet. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity. It feels lively on the entry with fine tannin, a Mouton that is nimble on its feet with a gentle grip towards the finish, which offers a satisfying aftertaste of spice and clove. It does not mirror some of the outstanding bottles I consumed within the first decade of its life, and peering into this First Growth, it is difficult to see whether it will repay those who cellar it longer. There are only 10,000 cases of this extraordinarily rich, dense 2002 that is as powerful as the 2003 (even the alcohol levels are nearly the same, 12.85%) . It is dark ruby/purple to the rim, with notes of English walnuts, crushed rocks, black currants, and forest floor, dense, full-bodied, and opulent, yet classic with spectacular aromatics, marvelous purity, and a full-bodied finish that lasts just over 50+ seconds. Huge richness and the sweetness of the tannin are somewhat deceptive as this wine seems set for a long life. Administrator Frederic Engerer seems to be more pleased with what Latour achieved in 2002 than in any other recent vintage. Some vines suffered from lack of moisture, but old vines and clay subsoil at Enclos saw this vineyard through. The Merlot harvest occurred between September 8 and 13, and the Cabernet Sauvignon was picked between September 22 and 30. The 2003 Latour is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. Six percent of the press wine was added to the final blend. This bottle reaffirmed my remarks from a few months ago albeit here within the context of all the other First Growth. I noticed that it has slightly more intensity than the Lafite-Rothschild, a touch of menthol infusing the black fruit, certainly more exotic than the Lafite or Mouton with that subtle hint of black olive. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. There is good muscle and weight to this Latour, with impressive tension and energy on the saline finish. However, a bottle tasted, of all places, in Seoul, Korea in February, was only a few points short of perfection. That amazing performance motivated me to pull another bottle out of my cellar and follow it over the course of two days. Sure enough, by the second day the wine was roaring from the glass. The 1990 Lafite has turned out far better than my early assessment. While it still possesses some firmness, and performs like a late adolescent in terms of its evolution, it boasts gorgeous aromas of cedar, tobacco leaf, cassis, and lead pencil shavings. The explosive aromas are followed by a fleshy, full-bodied wine that should hit its peak in 5-8 years, and last for 25-30 more.(The Wine Advocate, Jun 30, 2009) 5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼¤ÎɮƬ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È Chateau Lafite Rothschild ¥Ü¥ë¥É¡¼5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼¤ÎɮƬ¤È¤·¤Æ̾¹â¤¤¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È¡¦¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È¡£13À¤µª¤Ë¤Ï¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È¤Ïʸ¸¥¤ËÅо줷¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¤¬¡¢¥ï¥¤¥ó¤ÎɾȽ¤ò³ÎΩ¤¹¤ë¤Î¤Ï¡¢¥Ë¥³¥é¡¦¥¢¥ì¥¯¥µ¥ó¥É¥ë¡¦¥»¥®¥å¡¼¥ë¸ô¼ß¤¬½êͤ·¤Æ¤¤¤¿18À¤µª¤Ë¤Ê¤ê¤Þ¤¹¡£¥ô¥§¥ë¥µ¥¤¥æµÜŤǤâ¹â¤¯É¾²Á¤µ¤ì¡¢µ®Â²¤¿¤Á¤Î¥¹¥Æ¡¼¥¿¥¹¥·¥ó¥Ü¥ë¤È¤·¤Æ°¦¤µ¤ì¤ë¤è¤¦¤Ë¤Ê¤ê¤Þ¤¹¡£¤½¤Î¸å¡¢²¿Âå¤â¤Î¥ª¡¼¥Ê¡¼¤ò·Ð¤Æ¡¢Îò»Ë¤ËËÝÏ®¤µ¤ì¤Ê¤¬¤é¤â¡¢¥Ü¥ë¥É¡¼¤ÎĺÅÀ¤Ë¤Õ¤µ¤ï¤·¤¤¥ï¥¤¥ó¤Ø¤ÈÀ®Ä¹¤·¤Æ¤¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£¶áÂå¤Ç¤â¡¢¥Æ¥¯¥Ë¥«¥ë¡¦¥Ç¥£¥ì¥¯¥¿¡¼¤Î¥¨¥ê¥Ã¥¯¡¦¥³¥ì¡¼¥ë¤Ë¤è¤ê¹¹¤Ê¤ë²þ³×¤¬¿Ê¤á¤é¤ì¡¢5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼É®Æ¬¤ÎÃϰ̤òÉÔÆ°¤Î¤â¤Î¤Ë¤·¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È °ìÍ÷¤Ø
