Experimental philosophical short story as deep and insightful as Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

How the eyes of the abyss look like, when she stares back at you? Does she, like a woman, enjoys attention and whip or not? Or why even staring into it, what can be seen there and is it even worth it?
So here is what I've seen in there.

Like Nietzsche's Zarathustra, protagonist fictitious travels and endeavours serve as a metaphoric vehicle to present and illustrate philosophical ideas such as subjectivity of reality that people experience in their daily life, influence of religion on the world and its anatomy, psychology of the masses and of love, possibility and requisites of happiness. It consists of two narratives: one follows endeavours of main protagonist Aurelius and the other describes major historical events of the world of Mad Reality. Most characters and events in actuality are an allegoric representations of the real world concepts and ideas, for example Maximus embodies Ancient Rome, its values and metaphysics.

The story is set in a magic and odd technology infused, somewhat bizarre and even gruesome, metaphoric world. It starts with Aurelius reflecting over the disappearance of a mysterious women named THD as well as over everything his life had been about so far. As the story progresses, not only details of their love affair and other events revealed, but also both surface and hidden reasons behind various events of his life and even those of a broader world that caused it all to turn out this way.

Conversation with THD led Aurelius to eventually discover a psychological working of love that led to a metaphysical conclusion of her real nature, and other events and stories have their own philosophical, existential, metaphysical or psychological wisdom to tell.

Among them causes of conflict between Aurelius and priests of the Model over the existence of a certain dios as well as reasons for it unusual outcomes. As well as war between dioses Redemptius and Bicornerius and their followers that, while settles, leads only to further beaconing conflict with even more contestants. Origin of dioses and reasons for their popularity among the people and importance in the grand scheme of things. And even motives behind hitting a ground with a forehead according to a prescribed method shared by fellow ground-hitters and why it is not only a very popular activity but also a sacred ritual of great sanity. And many other witticisms.

Author of this masterpiece is a mysterious, solitary philosopher with a Bachelor degree in an unrelated field, who nevertheless has sound understanding of literature of merit due to independent studies and, in addition to works of Nietzsche, read such famous literary works as One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Slaughterhouse five by Kurt Vonnegut.

This work deconstructs Frantz Fanon's published works on the Algerian Revolution towards interrogating Fanon's discourse of anti-colonial Revolution in a search for insights into the failure of the Algerian Revolution. What is discovered is Fanon's discourse of Revolution in a state of evolution is trapped in time arising from Fanon's death in 1961. This evolving, unfinished discourse of Fanon was of limited utility in understanding what transpired in Algeria with freedom. But in its penetrating analysis of French colonial domination of Algeria offers insights into the worldview, intent and strategy of the revolutionary elite who grew itself into an oligarchy thereby jacking the Revolution by defanging the masses. Central to this analysis was the power relation between traditional Isam and the Revolutionary elite.

Think the Ouija board is just a game?

Think again.

For more than a century, the Ouija board has attracted the attention of a wide variety of people: paranormal thrill-seekers, adventurous adolescents, temperamental teens, tipsy party guests, and even curious skeptics. Most of the time, those who dabble with the Ouija or other spirit boards experience nothing out of the ordinary. But many times that's not the case. And many times that extraordinary experience isn't just strange, but downright terrifying.

Ouija Board Nightmares takes a look at some of those terrifying experiences, which range from nightmarish manifestations to actual physical assaults and demonic possession. While part of the author's intention is to inform and engage with these scary accounts, the main objective is to warn. While the Ouija board may be marketed as a harmless game, it is indeed neither. If the accounts in this book don't convince you of that, then nothing will.

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 Nazi Germany was also responsible for the popularization of methamphetamine, which is now either illegal or strictly regulated. It is a highly addictive substance that banishes both sleep and hunger while promising euphoria. #2 I traveled to the Berlin suburb of Adlershof, where the Temmler factory was located. The grounds were overgrown with weeds, and the building was abandoned. I entered the building and found a dark hallway with flaking green paint and broken lead-framed industrial windows. #3 The former laboratory of Dr. Fritz Hauschild, head of pharmacology at Temmler from 1937 until 1941, was the site of methamphetamine production. #4 The development of modern societies is bound as tightly with the distribution of drugs as it is with advances in technology. In 1805 Goethe wrote Faust in classicist Weimar, and by poetic means perfected one of his theses, that the genesis of man is itself drug-induced.

"Life After Death: Why Reincarnation Is The Only Afterlife Option" may be a bit of a controversial topic as there are those that are of the opinion that reincarnation if a fallacy so it could never be an option for the afterlife.

This is what makes it so interesting. It just peaks the curiosity to find out what information the author has presented to support this train of thought.

Though we have made much advancement as a people, life after death remains one of the most challenging and mysterious topics that we have to explore. A lot of research is being done and as the results come in we learn more. This book helps with that learning as there is a lot of information presented that does get the minds thinking.

We get an insight into what the afterlife is and how reincarnation fits into that and why in the long run it turns out to be not just the best but the only option for the afterlife. To learn why this option is so beneficial one has to just turn the page and start reading.

The author has put all of his efforts into this book and it shows.

About the Author: Barry Rose was always one to take on the controversial topics and he does it again with "Life After Death: Why Reincarnation Is The Only Afterlife Option."

The title alone gets a lot of people hopping.

He has appealed to the curiosity of all those individuals who want to know about the afterlife many believers may be wondering why he would say it is the only option as well as those that don't know much about the topic and are on their own search to find out what really happens after we die.

Is that the end of it or do we go on in some other form or go to some other plane of existence?

All those question and more are tackled in a unique way by Barry.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 In 1986, the nuclear physicist Stanislav Shushkevich thought the institute’s reactor was bleeding radiation. It was in people’s hair and clinging to their clothes. It was near danger levels at the front door. #2 When someone finally called the institute to report an accident at Chernobyl, it was already too late. The graphite core of the massive, concrete-encased reactor had flashed to high-pressure steam in four seconds. The upper biological shield, which was made of concrete blocks, began to bubble and dance. #3 The Chernobyl disaster was the result of two explosions in the space of less than four seconds, which blew open the reactor and its contents. The reactor was sealed within a metal tank filled with a mixture of helium and nitrogen to prevent the graphite moderator from burning. #4 The Soviet Union had suffered 13 previous reactor accidents before the one at Chernobyl.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 The Bible is a collection of books and letters that are all about astonishment. It is a revelation that invites us into a new experience, and human beings do not like to change. #2 God was not a likeable or lovable character for most of human history. God was felt to be controllable through human sacrifice, which was practiced by all cultures. But with the advent of Jesus, God took the initiative to overcome our fear and need to manipulate God. #3 The Bible is a text in travail, which means it does not give you the conclusions but rather creates a clear set of patterns and a tangent. It is only inner experience that can bring you closer to the truth. #4 The Bible is a collection of books, and we must believe that the Spirit was guiding this listening and writing.
Aileen Wuornos, touted as "America's first female serial killer", shot at least seven middle-aged men to death in Florida between December 1989 and September 1990. Their bodies were discovered along Florida's northern and central highways. A self-professed hater of humans, her troubled upbringing and difficult lifestyle contributed to her demise. She confessed to six murders, claiming that she killed her victims in self-defense after they attempted to sexually assault her while she worked as a highway prostitute; however, she later recanted five of her self-defense claims, instead pleading guilty to first-degree murder in order to "get right with God." Wuornos subsequently petitioned the Florida Supreme Court to stop all of her appeals so she could die. She asserted that she would definitely kill again and felt it better that her life was ended.

He was not trying to fool anyone by living the way he did. He had been president of the Telfair Academy, the local art museum, and his by-line had appeared in Antiques magazine. #3 Williams began to buy bigger houses as his business grew. He bought the Italian Renaissance palazzo Armstrong House directly across Bull Street from the staid Oglethorpe Club. He also bought Mercer House, which had been empty for more than ten years. #4 Williams’s Christmas party was the social event of the year in Savannah. It was known as the Party of the Year.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 The American educational system is the main fuel source of the Little Engine That Could of U. S. society, as it has taught us how to train our attention but has not taught us how to train our attention well. #2 The issue of overstimulation and continuous distraction is as old as the hills. The Buddha could have told you about Killingsworth and Gilbert’s findings 2,500 years ago: Nothing can hurt you more than an untrained mind, and nothing can help you more than a well-trained mind. #3 In meditation, some people try to kill their monkey minds, by thinking that the thinking mind is of no value and just a bunch of garbage on repeat. However, this contradicts a key tenet of neuroscience: the brain can’t not be doing something. #4 The space between things is a key that can unlock the mystery of how we experience the mind and how we might bring it under our own auspices. It’s often called the third thing. Everything we experience involves a subject and an object, but the quality of our relationship to those objects determines the nature of everything we think, feel, say, and take in from the world around us.

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 The fight in the Marianas that June crystallized the issue. The Allied fleet invaded Japanese territory for the first time, and the Japanese fleet was soundly defeated. The Allied planes hardly managed to lay a glove on the Japanese. #2 The Japanese diplomat Kase Toshikazu was a trusted friend of the captain, and he told him the toasts were to the official version. In reality, the Navy had sustained a devastating defeat. #3 The Japanese had never been better prepared for the attack on the Marianas. They had reconceptualized the Pacific Ocean area as a series of zones, and had developed plans for each one having local resources and bases. #4 The Japanese planned to use their advantage of having longer striking range than American carrier aircraft.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 There are seven threats to the moral environment, and they are all related to the idea of standards of choice and conduct. When we think about these big words, we see only bids for power and clashes of power, or we see only hypocrisy. #2 The Old Testament God is partial to some people above others, and jealous of his own pre-eminence. He seems to have no problem with a slave-owning society, believes that birth control is a capital crime, and approves of child abuse. #3 The Bible can be read as giving us a carte blanche for harsh attitudes to children, the mentally handicapped, animals, the environment, the divorced, unbelievers, people with various sexual habits, and elderly women. It encourages harsh attitudes to ourselves. #4 The classic challenge to the idea that ethics can have a religious foundation is provided by Plato in the dialogue Euthyphro. In this dialogue, Socrates, who is on the point of being tried for impiety, encounters one Euthyphro, who sets himself up as knowing what piety or justice is.

Sample Book Insights: #1 I went to Normandy, France, to film an NBC documentary on the fortieth anniversary of D-Day, the Allied invasion of Europe that marked the beginning of the end of Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich. I was unprepared for how this experience would affect me emotionally. #2 The American veterans who landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 were all around me as I was growing up. I had never appreciated what they had been through and what they had accomplished. #3 The World War II generation was a group of men who were transformed by their experiences, but they did not volunteer their stories. I had to ask questions or stay back a step or two as they walked the beaches, quietly exchanging memories. #4 The 1984 trip to Normandy was the first time Merli and Garton had met each other, and they shared memories of the chaos and death all around them. Sample Book Insights: #1 The Lord, who is my Shepherd, is God the author, God the artisan, and God the agent who presents these facts to both my mind and my spiritual understanding so that they become real and relative to me as an individual. #2 I am essentially bound to admit that Christ’s ownership of me as a human being is legitimate. I belong to him simply because he deliberately chose to create me as the object of his affection. #3 We are under obligation to recognize God’s ownership of us because He literally lays Himself out for us constantly. He is ever interceding for us, guiding us by His gracious Spirit, and working on our behalf to ensure that we will benefit from His care. #4 The Good Shepherd cares for and protects His flock.
Sample Book Insights: #1 The Eurasian steppe is a region of scrub and feathery grasses that stretches from the borders of China to the shore of the Black Sea. Steppe dwellers range the grasslands with their flocks, living in tents, and riding the short, hardy Turkish pony of the steppe. #2 Islam was spread by caravan through the Middle East cities, and by the sword. It was a powerful weapon in the struggle against uncertainty and change, as it was a firm religion with clear rules. #3 Islam’s genius for movement, however, remained ceremonial. By the caravans that traveled across the Islamic world, carrying sacks of spices and gold, many of the luxuries of the known world were handled by Muslim merchants. #4 Osman of Bithynia was the next leader to take over after the Mongols, in the fourteenth century. My parents taught me a strict Catholic and humanistic ethic. I knew I would have to make a choice about God and the Catholic Church. #2 My family always took the opportunity to give me a detailed account of the places where they had come face to face with history. They were simple people who wanted to tell me what had happened, using places and traces where the war had marked our daily landscape. #3 I learned about a topography, strange, distant, and foreign, that was synonymous with misfortune and suffering. It was the name Rawa-Ruska. I didn't know what country it was in, but it was nowhere. It was impossible to locate it. #4 I was 12 years old when I saw images of the Holocaust for the first time in the municipal library in Chalon.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 Emotions are a source of great resourcefulness. If you can learn to focus and work with the information inside each of your emotion states, you can become intimately connected to the source of your intelligence and heal your most profound wounds. #2 Empathy is a powerful tool that can help us understand others, but it can also be a double-edged sword. While empaths are very sensitive and intuitive, they can also get right to the center of any issue, but in a culture that can’t figure out what emotions are, empaths are difficult to understand. #3 I missed the important early stage of turning off my preverbal empathic skills in order to develop the verbal skills of emotional subterfuge. As a result, I could not listen to the dangerous ideas surrounding emotions and accept them. I had to find my own way. #4 Empathic skills allow us to see the world as alive with knowledge and meaning.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 I was raised in a rural environment, and as a result, I inherited a practicality that says when something doesn’t work, get rid of it. I chucked religion, and then education, as I searched for answers. #2 I began to think that I could find happiness and meaning in prestige. I would find a noble cause, devote myself to it, and in the process, become well known on campus. But the thrill of prestige wore off like everything else I had tried. #3 I was extremely attracted to the group of Christian students I met, and I decided to become friends with them. They challenged me to examine the claims of Jesus Christ, and I wasn’t buying it. I was fed up with religion and religious people. #4 I was a prelaw student, and I knew something about evidence.
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 The conclusion of the Great War raised England to the highest position she has yet attained. For the fourth time in four successive centuries, England had led the resistance of Europe to a military tyranny, and the war had ended leaving the small states of the Low Countries in full independence. #2 The British nation went into celebration after the war. The ordeal was over, and the threat had been warded off. The slaughter and the sacrifices had not been in vain, and the people gave themselves up to the emotions of triumph. #3 On the night of the Armistice, I dined with the Prime Minister at Downing Street. The three men at the head of Great Britain, the United States, and France seemed to be the masters of the world. Behind them stood vast communities organized to the last point, rejoicing in victory and inspired with gratitude and confidence for the leaders who had led them there. #4 The victory produced an astonishing effect on President Wilson.
